I am really pleased to see Iain Sanderson and the Lightning GT getting some recognition in Autocar today, because he has always been an enthusiastic ‘Brand Advocate’ of drive.
You can read elsewhere about Drive’s involvement with the Lightning GT project, and Steve Cropley‘s brief article summarises the project well.
Now some 15 years later, Iain shares as much enthusiasm about the project as he did at the launch.
I look forward to hearing from him, updating me with the latest news as he did this morning, because it is always a positive exchange.
In any business it is important to have people around you that have your back, and Iain is one for me, as I am sure he is to many others. A genuine networker.
So on my way to the Coventry Automotive and Transport Degree Show, I’ll drop into the British Motor Museum in Gaydon to see the Lightning – fittingly designed by a course alumnus Dan Durrant.
